I started this blog because I’m obsessed with lifestyle content. Give me all the curated magazine-like photos and hairstyling tips. I’ll take the “Which New Girl Character Are You?” quiz five different times and always hope for Winston.
But I haven’t always felt welcome in the lifestyle world.
The perfectly designed photo grids and expensive sponsored outfit posts sometimes leave me feeling uncomfortable.
Lifestyle content lacks real, raw emotion.
It neglected my mental health struggles.
It addressed how I looked on the outside, but not how I felt on the inside.
The smiling faces promoting exciting new travel destinations had no real solution for my spilled lattes, work stress, and family drama.
In the end, I just felt more alone.

With Simply Living, I’m building a revolution in lifestyle content—where we care about daily heart work as much as we care about our skincare routines.
